Peter (“Pete”) Fisher joins Pavese Law Firm in 2024 after six years as the founder and owner of Fisher Law Office, PLLC. Pete is an experienced litigator whose practice is focused on construction law, employment law, real estate and business disputes. Pete’s mission is to provide his clients with thoughtful, creative, and cost-effective legal solutions for their business and employment-related legal issues.

With over 14 years of legal experience in two states, Pete has helped everyone from homeowners to contractors, as well as real estate investors and business owners, to resolve contract issues, construction-related disputes, and employment concerns. Pete also assists his business clients with contract drafting and contract review.

Pete received his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2007. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston Massachusetts in 2010. Throughout his career, Pete has worked with business owners and individuals, representing them in State and Federal court and in administrative proceedings, and helping them with resolutions to their toughest construction disputes.

Before becoming an attorney, Pete was a professional baseball player from 1998 to 2005. After he was drafted in the fourth round by the Minnesota Twins, he played for the local minor-league team, the Fort Myers Miracle. After Pete’s legal career took him to Massachusetts, he was eager to return to Southwest Florida. Pete worked as an Associate Attorney for the Law Office of Kevin F. Jursinski. P.A., before leaving to found Fisher Law in 2018.

  • Represented construction industry businesses and homeowners in construction lien foreclosure actions and construction defects litigation.
  • Obtained seven-figure settlement for homeowners against developer in multi-million-dollar breach of contract and construction defects dispute.
  • Represented small businesses in defense of wage and hour and overtime pay claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and workplace discrimination claims.
  • Represented clients with pre-suit and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Prepared and revised contracts for construction companies.
